-Me and my granddaughter at her kindergarten dehydrate fruits towards Tu B'Shvat

Happy TuB’Shevat!! For us, as many Jews, TuB’Shevatis an opportunity to appreciate nature and the environment. Some celebrateTuB’Shevat by having a TuB’Shevatseder, a meal that follows a particular order (modeled on a Passover seder), others just eat dried fruit whilst many young children bring home saplings and plants to their families. In rural communities such as ours, it is quite common to see groups of young children and their families planting trees together, near this date, celebrating the optimistic power of nature and its wonderful ability for regeneration.
